When the show began, I was finishing my sophmore year in college, studying for a degree in biophysics. I was active as a tutor in biology and physics, a resident advisor in the dormitories and a self-professed Christian, but I hadn't been baptized. Since our little adventure has been over, I have stepped up my research, completing two Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowships and one National Institute of Health Fellowship. I recently completed my biophysics degree with highest honors and will shortly commence a joint degree in medicine and PhD in Neuroscience (MD/PhD) on a full scholarship. In the year after the show finished, I decided that my non-literal view of genesis and my respect for evolutionary theory were perfectly compatible with being a Christian, culminating in a joyful baptism.

Favorite Quote: "Make no little plans. They have no magic in them to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will never die, but long after we are gone will be a living thing, asserting itself with ever growing insistency. Remember that our sons and grandsons are going to do things that would stagger us." -Daniel Burnham
